The project embraces the concept of the "Sweating Building," which is a pioneering green building design inspired by computer radiator technology. This design is specifically tailored to suit Hong Kong's unique climate and dense urban environment. The Breathing Skyscrapers seek to combat the urban heat island effect prevalent in the city by integrating passive cooling techniques through strategic architectural layout and material choices. The tubular buildings, along with their water circulation systems and traditional courtyards, enhance natural lighting and airflow. Unlike conventional designs, the shape of the buildings and the water resources within are effectively utilized to reduce heat emissions and environmental impact, positioning the Breathing Skyscrapers as a highly sustainable structure in urban settings.
