The aim of our mobile app project is to help hearing and speech impaired people to communicate with others effectively. It is a user-friendly app, it can convert users’ simple gestures into meaningful sound which can be easily understood by others. Furthermore, this app also has a typing function to facilitate users for communication. We realize that there are more than 150,000 people in Hong Kong are suffering from hearing problems or speech disorders. So we hope this app can help those people in need to break the ice with others and to express their ideas without barriers.
