Road traffic signs are important ancillary facilities of road traffic safety and can provide all kinds of guidance and constraint information to the driver. The main theme of this project is to study the application of computer vision in object recognition, in particular, the recognition of traffic signs. The key development is an optimized algorithm running on a Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer (SBC) equipped with a hi-res camera. It is anticipated the study is a major part of an autonomous vehicle.
