Funded by Dorsett Hospitality International, and co-organized by the Institutional Advancement Office (IAO) and Innovation and Technology Co-creation Centre (ITCC), the Innovation Award & Seed Fund powered by Dorsett Hospitality International 2021/22 is to recognize students’ brilliant and innovative ideas in their year-end projects with good potential for further development. The competition received 33 entries from SEVEN academic disciplines and 11 teams got through to the finals.
The final pitching was successfully held on 21 June 2022 at Stage 21 in ITCC. To prepare for the final pitching, each finalist team received HK$10,000 for conducting research and prototyping. A series of training sessions, including seminars, workshops, sharing, and project consultations, were also conducted by ITCC from April to May 2022.

Gold Award Winners
Two Gold Award-winning teams will receive a cash prize of HK$30,000, and an additional seed fund of HK$60,000 will be granted for prototype development.
Silver Award Winners
Three Silver Award-winning teams will receive a cash prize of HK$10,000.
