ITCC supported the organisation of the IET Faraday Challenge Day 2023, which was held on 25 November 2023 at IVE (Morrison Hill). This event aimed to foster STEM (Science, Design and Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic) Education and innovation. Over 100 F1 and F2 students from 11 secondary schools, forming 13 teams, participated in the challenge with the theme of “‘Future Flight Challenge”.
During the challenge, students were given the task of designing and prototyping innovative solutions to support air mobility vehicles within an 8 hours timeframe. The winning team successfully created a drone prototype equipped with a parachute system and a user interface. Their dedication and outstanding work showcased the essence of engineering and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.
