The Shenyang and Tonghua Exploration and Exchange Tour, organised by the CR Charitable Fund in collaboration with Long Caring, was held from 5 to 9 April 2026. The tour was coordinated and fully supported by the VTC Innovation and Technology Co‑creation Centre (ITCC) to deepen university-industry collaboration and provide students with an in‑depth learning experience on the Chinese Mainland.

A delegation of 30 teachers and students from the Health and Life Sciences discipline travelled to Shenyang and Tonghua for site visits, cultural activities and academic exchanges. Through these activities, participants gained a deeper understanding of the country's latest developments in urban planning, people's livelihood and the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The tour aimed to foster closer exchange between young people from both regions, strengthen Hong Kong students' sense of national identity and cultural belonging, and lay a solid foundation for long‑term, in‑depth collaboration in the future.
