The new community pharmacy system is designed to address the current challenges and future service needs of community pharmacy. Having optimised the workflow, the system empowers the practitioners to provide more patient-centric pharmacy services to the patients. The project also involves drug label redesign, which aims at helping the patients and caregivers to understand better the medication instructions so as to increase the compliance rate to prescription regimens.
This is a co-creation project involving students studying in HD in Software Engineering, students studying in HD in Multimedia and Virtual Reality, and an e-health solution partner Acesobee, a community pharmacy operator – Health in Action and other NGOs.
