Result Announcements of the ITCC Innovation Awards 2024
The final pitch of the ITCC Innovation Awards 2024 was successfully held on 26 June 2024. Organized by the Innovation & Technology Co-creation Centre (ITCC), this is the annual scheme designed to acknowledge and encourage student projects that demonstrate innovative ideas with significant prospects for advancement in areas of social impact and commercial solutions.
Exciting Milestones in Digital Learning Innovation: Cathay x VTC Digital LearnX Co-Lab Programme Celebrates Success
The Cathay x VTC Digital LearnX Co-Lab Programme, an initiative aimed at igniting creativity among young talents in digital learning sector, has demonstrated remarkable outcomes. This collaborative effort engaged 25 VTC students from Design and IT disciplines, who teamed up with Cathay to transform the future of digital learning. Beginning with a kick-off ceremony at Cathay City last August, this ten-month collaboration resulted in the creation of FIVE innovative digital learning solutions. These solutions, which include immersive virtual tours and engaging learning games, span a broad range of operational areas such as airport services, inflight services, and cargo handling.

Being the supporting organisation of the event "Hong Kong ICT Awards: ICT Startup Award 2024" organized by Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), Innovation and Technology Co-create Centre now invite students to join.
ITCC Innovation Awards 2024
Launching by the Innovation & Technology Co-creation Centre (ITCC), the ITCC Innovation Awards Scheme is a new scheme designed to acknowledge and encourage student projects that demonstrate innovative ideas with significant prospects for advancement in areas of social impact and commercial solutions. ITCC Innovation Awards 2024 is now open for nominations until 29 February 2024 (Thursday). TEN finalist projects will be shortlisted with a seed fund of HK$10,000 each to further develop their projects for final pitching in June 2024.

Being the supporting organisation of the event "10th HK University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" organized by Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, Innovation and Technology Co-create Centre now invite students to join.

The IET Faraday Challenge Day 2023
ITCC supported the organisation of the IET Faraday Challenge Day 2023, which was held on 25 November 2023 at IVE (Morrison Hill). This event aimed to foster STEM (Science, Design and Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic) Education and innovation. Over 100 F1 and F2 students from 11 secondary schools, forming 13 teams, participated in the challenge with the theme of “‘Future Flight Challenge”. During the challenge, students were given the task of designing and prototyping innovative solutions to support air mobility vehicles within an 8 hours timeframe. The winning team successfully created a drone prototype equipped with a parachute system and a user interface. Their dedication and outstanding work showcased the essence of engineering and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.

ITCC南沙機遇探索團
Funded by the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation, ITCC organized a GBA Opportunity Exploration Tour to Nansha during 27-29 September 2023. A group of 30 VTC students and teachers, who are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship, joined the tour to visit incubation centres and enterprises in Nansha district of Guangzhou, as well as the cultural exchange activities between Hong Kong and Guanzhou, with the aim of exploring the development opportunities available in Nansha district.
